Filmmaker John Landis finds his part in ONCE UPON A TIME IN THE WEST

Sergio Leone's 1968 masterpiece gives the lie to the term "spaghetti western". In a hastily shortened version it was a box-office disappointment in the U.S.but it played in the same theater in Paris for years.

  • @BunchofMovieVideos I'm curious - why is the lobster sad..?

  • @sadlobster1 I posted two comments because the first time it wouldn't show my comment and I thought I forgot to click the 'Post' button. Second, I think it is boring because - it is! I like the atmosphere, but the endless shots of peoples eyes drag on forever and the action is a long time coming. The female character is pretty dull herself and I don't like any of the characters. Apart from that I don't know why it bores me, I just thought it was a drag. All Leone's other works are class though.

  • @BunchofMovieVideos First of all; why did you post your comment three times? Second; how is this movie boring

  • @sadlobster1 I repeat: So. BOOOOOORING.

  • @sadlobster1 So. BOOOOOOOOORING.

  • @BunchofMovieVideos what are you, NUTS

  • A MASTERPIECE.!!

  • This was probably the most boring film I've ever seen. I stuck with it to the end, but I don't remember why.

    So. Boring.

  • Love these vids! In my opinion, "Once Upon A Time In The West" is certainly Leone's masterwork. As appreciated as it has been, I still think that it's horribly underrated. Aguably, Morricone's best score, as well.
