The 2009 Power Generation Conference @ The Woodruff Arts Center, hosted by the Collective Renaissance Guild, honored Andrew Young, Andre 3000 and Jamie Foxx. Other activists, philanthropist, music professionals, entertainers and entrepreneurs were also in attendance.
The CRG (Collective Renaissance Guild) is an organization of women in Atlanta who seek to provoke change through philanthropy, art, and social awareness. This remarkable group is re-branding the hip-hop generation as "The Power Generation", and follows in the steps of our leaders of the 60s and 70s by re-calling our generation to social and cultural improvement through self examination.
