  • So what r ur plans for the beauty? Any idea on the hp it makes?

  • It is rated at 245 H.P. @ 2200 RPM for take off power, and 225 H.P. @ 2000 RPM. I realy have not decided what I'll use it for yet. Perhaps a 90 gallon Margarita mixer?

  • Uhhh how do you get that huge engine to turn over with a wuss puss drill? Does it store energy in a high-speed starting fly wheel or something? AMAZING.

  • Yes, .... the gear reduction in the hand crank inertia starter is phenominal. I have the flywheel exposed, and turn that with the drill motor. It turns the crankshaft a fraction of the flywheel speed, but gets the job done.

  • see if you could create a radial engine car, like the monaco trossi (google it)

  • Looks like it scared the poop out of you the first time it lit. Cool stuff. I've flown behind one of these.

  • I bet if you put a small flywheel on the crankshaft, itll run much better. If not, you can find a cut down prop which will act the same way as well as keep the cylinders cool.
