Soar With Feeling/Feeling Sore by Marck Menke

A walk through a linear repetitive space, such as a corridor, gives a sensation similar to a strobe light. In 'Soar With Feeling/Feeling Sore' two forms of repetitive lighting are contrasted: direct from the ceiling (in a covered sidewalk in Brooklyn) and reflected from the floor (in a research building in St. Louis). The repeating pattern of each corridor is shown by interrupted, hand-held, forward tracking shots, while being undercut by idiosyncratic digital effects.
