  • But don't forget to add your own feel. It's the only way to sound natural, fresh and convinced. And also the best to grow in your performing. When you may cannot get the exact passage, try to propose an alternative made by you concerned with this style. This will add an extra fun.

    Regards,

    Marcelo.

  • @EricoMarcelo Ok, good to hear that. I'm using audacity and I reduced the speed 50% but still I keep listening the same passage over and over again to get it right :). I will check out "Shadoogie" and your other videos too.

  • Hello!

I learnt it by ear and with a lot of patience by practicing comparing again with the original and so on. Please, give a look to my cover of Shadoogie. It took me a lot of time, too.

    Regards,

    Marcelo.

  • Yeah this helped. I'm trying to learn the song by ear, but when it comes to more than single notes or single notes played fast after each other it is very hard, also because this is just my second attempt to learn a song by ear. How did you learn it?

  • I'm happy to know it, Roy!

    Regards,

    Marcelo.
