I don't care if its G1, Beast Wars, Beast Machines, RiD, Armada, Energon, Cybertron, Animated or hell the movie... I like Transformers all the same.

When I found out The Hub was showing the original cartoon as well as Prime, I flipped my shit.

Just saw Transformers G1 and GI Joe on Hub right after 1962 Batman.Holy shit Batman sucked but it was worth the wait for TransFormers and GI Joe

@simonvstrijp Gen 2 came out several years after Gen 1, like around '92 or '93. Most of the initial toys were loud, colorful redecos of G1 toys, but new molds came along later.
People get confused about G1 and the seasons, thinking G2 is post-movie. As far as the US cartoon is concerned, all 4 seasons - s1 & s2 pre-movie, s3 & s4 (Rebirth mini-series) post-movie, and of course the movie itself - are G1.
There was no unique G2 cartoon; they just aired fancy "Cybernet Space Cube" re-runs of G1.
