Get the facts right. 1, A greyhound will not be put to sleep at 3 for being too old. 2. All racing greyhounds are micro-chipped.3. Most of the money received for retired greyhounds comes from owners. 4. The dogs love running.

This video was a project which I took very seriously, I did all my research to mak sure that the information was correct it may have changed now I am not sure, also a greyhound will be put to sleep not due to be "too old" because not many people will bring a greyhound (normally an ex racer) into their home and if the shelter is over populated - it isn't uncommon. There was a story in the new paper a few years ago after I got my greyhound, the same shelter killed a number of ex

i have just rehomed an ex reacing greyhound bitch xxxxshe is doing really well and getting plenty of cuddle s and love and now lives indoors xxxx she deserves the best she is a great dog and will now live a happy life with our family xxxxxx the people we got her off was not cruel with her but after watching some of the clips on you tube i seriously think she is now in a better place a forever home

Its really good to see people rehomie an ex-racers people just dont get that once you let a dog go to be rehomed its going to be hard for them to get a home since no-one wants them which is why they meet a sad end. I adopted a greyhound fawn colour, although she wasnt raced she runs around in a circle. . . ruined the garden too but they they are loveable dogs though arent they?

very cool video. I acsedently gave it 4 stars but I think it's a 5. my greyhound has half of her left ear missing. I have seen this toarcher in person. when we got out baby, she was all tied up, had a severly infected ear which was growing maggots, and was all wet and ready to be stuned than have her throut slit. we bought her for only $5. pretty sad. keep up the good work. ♥♥♥♥♥greyhounds♥♥♥♥♥

I think this is an amazing video. I adopted an ex-racer but he had to go back the the cat and dog shelter because he bit me in the face after 3 weeks of being with me and my family. But I suppose you never no what they have been through in the past. He's back in the shelter now though and apparently quite happy.
