@Shadowbolt416 yes, agree with you. Not for C. Pine. He is fine in the rol, the problem was the script. Kirk was a cadet, without experience and commands the best ship in the fleet..Spock would say .. the new star trek has logic problems.

No, seriously, I completely agree with you. Chris did a spectacular job. Without him, I don't think the movie would've been half as good as it was. I love Shatner and his Kirk totally gets into you after watching TOS but (for me) Chris is far more compelling than him and his Kirk was believable and perfect. So yeah, your comment made my day. Wish I could press the thumbs up button a billion times to thank you for it.
