This video was created for library staff in service day at the St. Joseph County Public Library in South Bend, Indiana by Dale kerkman, Bob lewandowski, Michael Stephens and Adam Tarwacki. Set to Madonna's "Ray of Light," and inspired by the video of the song, this video details a day in the life of a thriving public library system, highlighting the faces and places that make the library the library.

Love it! I first saw this video years ago, and still love coming back to it from time to time. I miss the old soundtrack! :( To synch it, I just used another youtube video with the song. I wonder if the rules now allow you to put the original soundtrack back up with appropriate attribute and a link to go get it if people want it.

kind of sad that youtube is going after libraries. I thought it would somehow fall under fairuse (educational? although that might be shaky).

My library group used an older song and did what I thought would fall under fair use / parody but youtube took the music out anyhow. Maybe if we had stamped PARODY or clearly stated parody, that would have been okay. Anyhow, this is well done regardless of the music.
