The Clamps from http://www.Eurekazone.com
The problem with guides and track saws is that teye're limited to panels and wide boards. With this invention we can cut safe the narrowest piece of wood.
The idea is to work like a machinist.
Imagine walking into a machine shop and see a machinist holding a piece of metal under a drill press without a vise?

  • The system looks practical, useful and accurate.

    .

The rail should have some proper feet to stand when flipped over, not just the four axes of the screws that secure the clamps.

    .

And also a way to stand firm, not loose on the bench.

    .

And if the piece of wood is small and the clamps come very close together, then the rail wont stand on a big enough base when inverted.

  • @Mauromoustakos yasou.

we're working to make ii super and everything you said is included in the new version.

    euxaristo!!!!

  • The EZ clamp system looks effective for making match sticks. What about something more practical like cutting 4'x8' sheet-goods?

  • If you can clamp match sticks you can clamp anything. To cut panels you need to use the ez square and no clamps.

    Thanks.

  • For large panels you don't need clamping.

Take a look at the *squaring a panel* video.

There is no clamping when you use the ez square.

Even better, you don't need to measure for repeat cuts with the ez system.

    Look for the *repeaters*

    thanks

  • My mistake, I assumed Dino asked us to rate these videos as to how good/effective they were. I guess I further assumed it was from the "how to" point of view for EZ products.

  • Youtube is great. Make a video with any product and way to safely cut narrow strips.

Asking a small company to hide the features and benefits of it's products is like asking someone to stop thinking and inventing ...because some people may get upset?????????????????

    Thanks

    Dino the carpenter.

  • Now this video makes to think of many possibilities. How would you make accurate repetitive cuts with this system? something similar to using stop block or guiding fence in other system. Let's say you need to inlay a table top with 6 mm dado (table saw can cut that 6m.m all day long accurately and effortless)

  • Very nice system. But sorry, I still think a table saw is still the most versatile, more efficient tool in woodworking shop. The C clamp may be 100 years old but can be used in endless operation.

There no such universal tool in woodworking business.

I still think that you are a very clever guy though. And this system has a potential in the market.

  • @Mauromoustakos

MM, you're a very smart guy. We're working on a better way just like you like it.

We don't like to have multiple tools to do the same thing and the answer was to make a slide under extrusion that we can use all our tools. This one is going to have legs and works similar to the one's in the video.

    euxaristo.

  • How much the saw loses it´s original cutting depth capacity with this system? In other words what's the thickness of the base plate and rail combined? And is there an european dealer for this system?

  • He chucks the the other thing on the ground, LOL
