If I had a $ for every time someone said that to me :D
No gun's are not illegal in the UK.
Please check out my other videos and you'll see how and why this is...

Only if it's been converted to a straight-pull / bolt-action.

@WatchRyder Yes, then it will fire full auto. When i was in the military we used to do that with our Belgian made FN FAL
-
I will tell you what's wrong with the FAL and that is they did not make enough of them and they could have put a little more effort into the rear sight
-
No that is correct, but you are also correct, the gas mech may resemble the SVT but the roots are with the StG and the German WW2 SLR that wasn't as reliable as the SVT.
So we'll agree to disagree:)
-
@WatchRyder: That is incorrect. The StG44 influenced the FAL conceptually and it was originally intended to fire the same intermediate round (7.92x33 Kurz), but the gas-operated mechanism and internal configuration very closely resembles the Tokarev SVT 40.
-
@WatchRyder They aren't junk, far from it. They are some what similar mechancally, but that doesn't mean the FAL came from the SVT-40.
-
What I said was the origin of the FN FAL is with the MP44 NOT the SVT 40.
Hope that clears things up for you.
-
@WatchRyder Really? SVT 40 is a copy of MP44 ? Are you serious? Or just trolling me?
-
No it isn't and thanks.
MP44 / Sturmgehwr is the origin not the soviet junk-rifle :)
One of my favourites too :)
It will fire full-auto, you only have to remove the safety ;o)
Chamber a round and it is ready to rock and roll.
For practicing on short ranges < 100m @ man size targets the DAG Training
ammunition is fine, and cheap as dirt (1000 pcs cost EUR 80,-)

@hlmgoertz
Are you saying by mechanically removing the safety catch from the weapon entirely it will become full-auto?!
