  • thats a bad idle sensor in the throttle body, ive had that on my monte before

  • don't blow it up

  • fyi..i had mine completly redone...we made the cams custom because stocks impossible to find and fit....didnt have to change stuff...mostly all timings r the same ...minor changes...these motors were detuned for production...build them and u be happily surprised..plenty of things u can do...just be surre u have somebody who knows what they r doing...and prepared to spend...i spent 5 grand to rebuild mine...it is pretty much easily reached 300 hp w/o use of chip or crazy changes..

  • have you tried gettng a new tps. might help that reving up and down situation

  • EAT MY TEETS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • did anyone chesk for vacuum i'd be listening to holladon6969. theres a tiny one the goes to the vacuum regulator. it tends to break easy in cold weather. in the prixs its in the front drivers fender. chech the line its a big prob

  • Yes a higher duration.lobed cam will change the idle,as it takes more vacuum. But what I like,is its dual exhaust, with inly one tailpipe working.sounds like crap to me!

  • Just so U realize a (1) performance cam wouldn't work out very well, You'd need 4, and bigger cam(s) won't change the idle any at all, thats the idle controls, possible TPI and sometimes advancing or retarding the timing can cause it FYI ;)

  • you should leave it like that lol.

  • check your cat. mine did that when it went bad
