I'm really tired of the United States and there lies and them skipping a whole Nationality and a race of people to try to benefit them as much as possible.

The Latin vote!

It wasnt the Latin vote; it was the Mexican Vote and the Cuban.

We got to get real and see how this country is really run.

It wasnt the Cuban vote it was the White Cuban vote.

Because most white Cubans voterswere the ones to help put Bush in office.

It was white older Cubans voter that tried to put McCain in office.

That is one of the reasons why Latinos that speak Spanish has so much power.

Haitians aren't Latinos ,they aren't native or Spanish, there a mixture of French and African, AND CUBA IS SPANISH COUNTRY IT IS NOT A PART OF BLACK LATIN AMERICA, I should know because I'm Latino from Cuba.-:(

Haitians aren't part of Latin america because of politics. years ago the pope controlled much of the politics in Spain and Portugal, but not so much in France. his powers extended over to the Americas, and the pope's kingdom (Vatican) is in Italy. so everything in the Americas that was catholic (run by the pope) was called Latin america. since France didn't answer to the pope they got excluded. so even if Haitians were non-black they still wouldn't be considered Latin Americans.

Its has to do with common backgrounds Common culture common foods commom period. Although Haiti is predominantly black and French Creole speaking we eat and have the same cultures as the people in Brazil people in Cuba people in Santo Domingo.

@Rubielchen Yes 1% of Mexico population is black. However they are not afraid to admit it and even Kalimba album is titled Negro Klaro basically saying he is black to make it clear. Basically he knows who he is and where he comes from.

Haiti is considered Latino because of its Latin culture. Go to Haiti and you won't believe how many Haitians are dancing to salsa and merengue in the clubs. When you go to Cuba, people their will say that Haitians are Latinos. Read your history because Haiti was the FIRST country in Latin America discovered.

Girl I feel you on that, the u.s government is racist bluntly put. They know what they are doing, the u.s only has the first black dude as president who's not even 100% black this country was build on the back of black people illegally and yet blacks don't have 100% right as their white peers. Which is very shameful, so since Haiti was the first black independent country the u.s stop doing business with them and try to erase Haiti's history... But too bad Haitian will never let that happen.
