@JohnR177 what would you rather do, be sweating your ass off & being in the "sandbox" all the time, or chillin' in air conditioning waiting to help someone? oh btw I am a firefighter in the air force, and i only work 3 days a week! lol

I wish i could go in the AF for firefighting.. recruiter said theres a 4-6 month wait...

DOD is now handling all firefighting jobs, you dont go to a recruiter anymore for it. I tried, thats how I know!!!

Army, Air Force, Marine Corps., & Navy all have firefighting jobs, they all go through the louis j. Garland Fire academy, at Goodfellow AFB, Texas. I am a air force fire fighter and love it...

1) Marine Infantry
2) Army Infantry
3) Air Force Firefighter
I have to choose within the next 6 months or so. Any suggestions, comments, questions?
