Here's another public domain segment of Dr. Paul Bearer singing ghoulish songs. Killing Pigeons in the Park was one of his most requested songs.

  • Thanks for the update on who did the music. I always wondered who the singer was. I remember one movie he did on Creature Feature: "Devil Doll" with Bryant Halliday. They never did air it again. The most remembered I will always cherish is his intro of the 3-D movie the Mask in 1982. They had these really eye-popping 3-D promos during the movie of a guy shooting out a paper popper and a cue stick too. They were in slow motion but still I remember them well !

  • I was sorry too when I heard he had passed away. I have a 1987 Tribune article of him without his makeup on. They interviewed him about his career and talked about what he did on Creature Feature. Great guy !

  • This man was my Gothic Captain Kangaroo as a little girl..

  • Too bad they destoyed all of the prints. Remember when he would electrocute his neighbor and/or his mother? The neighbor yelled at Shock through the window in his room and his mother would yell at him through the trap door on the floor. Lots of great movies shown late night and lots of terrible ones also. Remember the opening with the thunder and lightning and the wolf howls? I'm glad someone else remembers all of this...

I was on his show in 1973 as a kid.You might have seen me on the show.I drew a life size poster of him that looked exactly like him.He had me on the stage with him as we looked at it.He stood side by side next to it.It looked exactly like him.I adored him.

My room was a big monster sancuary.

  • Could he have gotten away with The Masochisim Tango?

  • As a kid I watched him every saturday and would see him in the citrus festival parade on the hood of his hurst. There was a myth that he had a casket in his home in cypress gardens fla that he slept in but it was of course not true. R-I-P.
