MC Shan, gold puma, custom made box with built in audio.

Yo MTV Raps, a line of puma footware inspired by 80's Hip Hop artists such as MC Shan. This gold pair includes an illustration of the legendary Queensbridge.
I purchased them for my Girlfriend who remembers "The Bridge" time round and had coverted these trainers just a week before her birthday.
I customised a regular shoe box with black crushed velour and covered with sparkly gold fabric.
I decorated beneath the lid with a painting of the Queensbridge and a false 'cartoony' ghetto blaster which hides an old mp3 player (that was on its last legs - recycling) and wired up the speaker from an old musical birthday card. The music is the original MC Shan track.
(I built the box so the player can be activated from the outside before the box opens as demonstrated in the video)
Sonya (who the gift was for) loved the birthday suprise!
