Looks like the people in Sa'dah do it the same way. Also in Al Jawf, Yemen. These provinces were part of the same nation for thousands of years. Thus we can conclude Najran is a Yemeni province in Saudi Arabia, as is Asir and Jizan.

These building technique were used since biblical time and it has very efficient in its thermal mass especially in desert like conditions.
