Level 42 is an English pop rock and jazz-funk band which had a number of worldwide and UK hits during the 1980s and 1990s. The band gained fame for its high-calibre musicianship in particular that of Mark King, whose percussive slap-bass guitar technique provided the driving groove of many of the band's hits.

this is close..but not close enough for me. Nice playing kuz but there's a few extra and a few missing notes there..some crucial ones.

the Whole Point of playing Mark King is LISTENING to the Actual Bassline and Playing In TIME...the stuff you added in is a sloppy mess.

Like always, you put out high quality videos. Your sense of time is impeccable, as is your understanding of each bass player's sound and technique. Here's another great chart that's a good example of that - Mark King's Alembic sound and superb slap technique make his charts challenging to play right. Excellent job!

@Davie504 Yes that so true Mark King is my favourite and probably technically the best. He is really a King on both bass and vocals and on cool stage performance
