@BoBoDish It isn't that it is better, just that the price point is much more affordable and the Free version is amazing. Camtasia has it's benefits and is more robust but also more expensive. Hope that helps.

Scott, Great summary, thank you! Any thoughts on how Screencast-O-Matic compares with Jing? I've been using Jing (pro version) to record my videos, but it doesn't look as robust as this product. Just wondering if you had any experience with Jing and could compare the two? Thanks!! Wayne

@wmforema That is a great question. We have used Jing as well and it is a great product the only problem is the video is limited to 5 minutes and there is not a lot of editing options unless you have Camtasia. Screencast-o-matic is just better when it comes to video when comparing to Jing. Thanks for the comment.
