I started a band that makes stuff that's meaningful lyrically, and the music can have some dark themes. However, I am not good enough to super-brutal Death Metal.

even if people dont play death metal they should learn a couple songs just to gain stamina, in either drums, guitar, or bass. this guys flipped the metal world upside down and changed the genre forever like it or not. just because its fast progressive and technical it doesnt meant that it doesnt have the heart and soul of the players. listen to classic rock and see your roots.

The only thing I don't like about death metal is the scene. There are many copy cat bands out there that think their the shit... Cryptopsy is on par with classical music and the same goes to Cannibal Corpse. Many don't realize theres a huge difference between technique and playing from the heart.

this shits for nerds!!! back to listening to Venom XD

always wanted to play something interesting, technical. Started with punk, that didnt work. Even a monkey could play that. Then thrash. Didnt really have a nack for that. but this, this is the stuff right here.

Heavy Metal in general today sucks, if we're talking about the new bands. Especially those annoying metalcore/deathcore shit. The fans fucking piss me off, because of those "core" genres(with the exception of Grindcore), it gives metal a band name. Nowadays the mainstream audience think Death Metal and Screamo are the same thing, which of course they're completely different. One is for pussies and the other is for people with balls(death metal).

@a7xcuber No, I'm not comparing them, and Six Feet Under is kinda of death n' roll.
I don't think Roger has enough tits behind him.

"Some people would say this is a pile of shit I don't get what it is. That's because the human ego, if it does not understand something, it condemns it". From a wise mans point of view.
