@MissShizingher That's not what this scene was about.
I agree with you, it isn't Meredith's problem because that is not her father...but Lexie is her sister. Lexie is asking her sister to help save her family. The bond between sisters is a lot stronger than people give credit for, even if they've only known each other for a short time, Meredith loves her sister. You know what the real trip is...Lexie was the only person in her family to reach out to Meredith since her mom died.

@nicknsharonfan i so agree with you! like she's going on about how he was there for her school plays and graduation and crap and not there for meredith, maybe im just being bias because my dad wasnt there either but it shouldnt be meredith's problem that lexie's dad is dying :P

I never liked this episode, well this scene, because she asked her for a favor and then rubbed salt into the wound of things he has done for her that he never did for Meredith. I was like..bitch. But all in all, this scene really wasn't about Thatcher it was more about Meredith and Lexie.

Not necessarily what she was asking but the way she was asking this to Meredith I thought was very selfish. "She was crappy to you but wonderful to me so give me MY dad... blah blah blah"

@GirlyGosselinFan she's annoying when she's NOT with Mark,
she's very mature when with him.
she needs to be with Mark,
he helps grow her up ahahha

Meredith was never going to say no, she cares too much about Lexie to hurt her like that, id do the same in her position!
-
@jamcraise It's her character in the show. That's why they picked her. And I like Lexie. She's a good person, no matter how annoying she can be. Am I right?

I hate this scene. Hate it hate it hate it. Lexie just practically guilt tricked Meredith into doing it.
I hate how he was so good to her an all star dad but such a mean person to Meredith.

"I know he's not your dad. He was never your dad. But you have his blood." - Such a simple yet powerful line.
