Looks like you learned some basic math from the show. But not the history of this amazing show. It was better with Jim Henson though.

east215: Well said. But still, you can't not love the Street for what it is has done over the years (particularly, the earlier years from its 1969 inception to the 1990's prior to "Elmo's World").

My dad was about 6 when it first aired, but I'm seriously impressed. 4,187 episodes in 40 years, shown in 120 countries. It's unfortunate that most of the creators aren't here. (I remember watching this show along with much more older shows, years ago.)
