Hey Kevin up shift at 1500 it will drop 2000 to 2500 rpm to the next when splitting gears. Truck gear speed depends on rear end gear and horse power you will have to play with it.

Some of you are forgetting the dlb low gear. Low/low od 1/1 od 2/2od 3/3od 4/4od hi/low up 5/5od 6/6 od 7/7od 8/8od that's 18 gears forward . Video shifted like a short 13 speed. Want a challenge ? 4 over 5 twin stick...

can somebody PLEASE tell me what the road speed to gears are on a 18 Speed Eaton Fuller trans,in a 2008 peterbuilt "i think" 389?? PLEASE! im training with a driver of a company and he wants me to drive like HE does! not how i learned to! "double clutching in school" he wants me to,"coming to a stop sign,get to 6 gear,pop into neutral and find a lower gear" problem I have is knowing the road speed to gears!!! 1,2,3,4, i know 5 is 15mph

Shifting an 18 speed is basically just a combination of a Super 10 and a standard 10 speed. I personally love the Super 10 but as long as Im getting paid, I dont care about gear patterns.

@ck15001994 no it is not, a 10 speed Eaton Fuller does not have a splitter button so how could it be blue? A 9 speed Eaton Fuller does not have one either.

I shifting this gear box in an Renault Major 385 in Germany and Europe for 20 Yaers ago . But now i m nothing more on the Road ! God bless all trucker´s of this earth , alseits good ride ! greetz from Germany

Im running a 460 Mack wit a 18 spd EF... Love it... That extra splitter for each gear comes in handy when ur loaded with 30 ton of Logs on 10 tires.. Heaviest load ive hauled on it was 34 ton . Steering tires were barely staying on the ground :) Nuttin like logging

i used to drive a seddon atkinson with this gear box hated it no need for all them gears like range chane on volvo much better :)

this trans is an 18 speed he is just didn't split the low side. tranmissions are only classified by the number of forward gears. also you can tell it is an 18 speed because the spliter button is gray. 13 is red . 15 is blue

How difficult is it to drive with a tranny like this? I can drive stick, but big rigs confuse the hell out of me.
