How did you mic that? Sounded amazing! I've got one of Frank's earliest steel bodied Doulians with the crescent/star cover plate...

Great as aways, John!

The range of tone and volume in this model is eerie, stunning. Your playing is mysterious and earthy, excellent atmosphere. Do you think the 24.5 inch scale helps the bass sound so strong? I am having trouble deciding between one of the 30 Delta Rockets or a long-scale Highway 61 model. Any thoughts, John?

This one is the loudest of all my reso's!! And the design is awesome as well.. I can't say what scale it is, is it 24,5"..? It feels like the tricone 25,5" but I haven't measured it.. I'm pretty sure that the tricone grilles makes the acoustic sound "fuller and richer"..
If I had to choose between a Hgw61 and the Delta Rocket I'd go for the DR, but the Hgw61 is cool too and it's smaller which can be a good thing sometimes!
I'm glad that you dig my music, thanks a lot!!!

Sounds (and looks) great. Cover plate looks kinda of high? Does it have a high bridge? I have a Vintage AMG1 single cone which has a high bridge and it doesn't seem to project as well as the Delta Rocket.

Thanks!!!
The coverplate is pretty much of the same height as any other singlecone. A high bridge is good, gives the strings a nice break angle = more tone and volume!
Try to put a Republic cone in your AMG1, could make a difference!?
