ok i get what youre saying. but i still prefer zimmers score. guess its all a matter of preference! im definately going to have to listen to the couples retreat score.

@iiluckyducky Yes, but it's not about him winning an award, it's what he wins it for. We all know he is deserving of an Oscar and so is ARR. But if Zimmer wins an award for a bad score, then it would just be sad. Now, when I said "inception doesn't deserve it", I was talking about the score. The film deserves an award way more than the music. The score worked well with the film, but it is what I call entertaining, not brilliant.
Couples Retreat is a far greater score.....you should give a try

inception wouldnt be winning hans zimmer would be. i agree that inception should not win best movie or whatever else but i loved zimmer's score. it matched the movie perfectly, brought out the emotion of the movie. not that rahman's didnt, i just like the other one better. either way, whoever wins truely deserves it, both the scores are amazing in my opinion! as for couples retreat i will have to listen to that score. i agree, movie looked horrible.

@iiluckyducky Inception doesn't deserve it. Not even close to one of the best of the year. In fact it is among Zimmer's weaker scores. This is better, but either way, I don't think this is the best of the year either.....
Rahman REALLY should have got a nomination for Couples Retreat, the music was brilliant....the movie was terrible!
