The Last Flight - Lieutenant General Dan Halutz -IDF-

The Chief of IDF General Staff, Lieutenant General Dan Halutz held an official departing visitation yesterday (Wednesday 31/01/07), in the Israel Air Force, and at Southern and Central Command.

During his visitations, the Chief of Staff met and spoke with the commanders of the commands. During his visit to the Air Force, the Lieutenant General flew with the "Sufa" Squadron as part of their operational training and practiced aerial combat sorties along with Air Force Commander, Major General Eliezer Shkedi.

Lately, the Chief of Staff visited Northern Command and in the coming days is expected to visit other various branches and arms of the military.
