@sammiiboyy mate this is a very bad instructional video and this method rarely works especially if ur opponent is strong. you really should do this: you see the trainers right arm across the neck: then you see his left arm locking it in: grap his left hand (the arm thats locking in the choke) and yank his hand down towards your chest keep control of that wrist. Then he only has one arm around ur neck u can then use his wrist for leverage and sweep into his guard.

@bplacs14 dude in the beginning just watch some videos and teach yourself i did that and entered a local bjj competition and won my weight class. now im at a gym to officially recieve my higher belt ranks. but if u teach yourself the basics and build a solid base you can save yourself alot of money on classes. the first day i went into class they promoted me to oarnge belt because that was the level where you knew all the basics and could compete with higher belt ranks.

@MunyndabankRDG THAT is how u can tell this school is shit. traditionally u cant be higher than green belt if ur under 16 years old. and at a legit school the youngest black belts are 18

TKD? Great! That was my first style. I love Taekwondo as a foundation art. But make sure you learn how to grapple also, or you'll get a false sense of confidence. Also take some boxing or you'll not know how to punch correctly. Good luck with your training!

If this school bully is a consistent problem, I strongly suggest finding a local martial arts school near you, and preferably one that teaches MMA. Unfortunately, we have not expanded our Pro-Star MMA schools into Australia yet. Where in Australia do you live? Perhaps we have an affiliate school I can suggest...

Well I dont have that problem but I'm interested. I live in Sydney, any affiliate school here?

We have not yet expanded the Pro-Star MMA System into Australia, but have thousands of MATA (Martial Arts Teachers Association) schools around the world, of which over 60 are in Australia. . Send me a message with your town name and postal code and I would be happy to send you to a good MMA school.
