1 year old Baby Reading 40+ Words!

Nim's mother started using the Little Reader system with her when she was 10 months old, and in less than 2 months, Nim was showing signs of recognizing words. Note, this is "whole word" reading, not phonetic reading, though Nim is picking up the rules of phonics intuitively. For more about teaching whole words vs phonics, see http://brillbaby.com.

Most importantly, Nim just loves her Little Reader lessons and cannot get enough of them, as you can see in the last segment of the video. It's a myth that teaching babies to read involves forcing. We believe that the younger you teach, the more they love it!
