If a business gives public its budget, but not their year-end actual financial statements, it can be concluded that budget and year-end fincancial statements are the same. SBCHouston states they pay the ushers, associate deacons, and deacons $29,000. Why? SBC does not reimburse their members' donations to Angels of Light , Chistmas in July, etc. Shouldn't the deacons' small expenses, such as occasional hospital parking, be part of their sacrifice and service? Never seen a poor SBC deacon.

@jimmah55555 written by man, inspired by God Himself. He is more than big enough to make sure it's right. Personally I don't believe in fairy tales. It is real to me and that is all that matters.Good day

@OBS1Di0N the 'word' was written by men, and it a load of tosh. Open your eyes 'faith' isn't a reason to belive in a fairytail.

To: TKahil (two comments below) - Thank you for your opinion. Matthew 6:1 - new(?) shoes worn during performance to be donated and advertising.

@organizedcrimes This event wasn't sponsored by Best Buy, It's a church trying to spread its good spirits and share its charity to maybe bring people to be a part of something like it and come to know Christ... If you consider a church attempting to appeal to people to perhaps give them the urge to join as "advertising", then yes... this church is advertising the heck out of how great it is to be a part of the church and become a Christian..

See YouTube: SBCHouston Dance Your Shoes Off. SBC Houston said that the shoes worn by the people during the production were donated to people in need. Shoes that are worn during a production and broken-in are not new. Second Baptist Church Houston seems to twist everything around to meet their desired purposes.

If this organized event is truly about Easter, then why tells the public about the thousands of shoes that were donated and then advertise the church (SECOND.ORG)? Matthew 6:1 It means more and feels better to do good deeds and works and not publicize them. Try it, you'll like it.
When we filmed this we were walking through the park and everyone there was calling it a flash mob. If I had filmed it from where they began running out on the field, there probably would have been less complaining. But, I thought it was cool.
