Buzz in Bucks: fastest gift-wrapper

Reporter Rachel Canelli: More than 150 Ann's Choice residents wrapped 600 gifts for needy children throughout the region that were donated through organizations like the YWCA of Bucks County. They also held contests to see who could design the most beautiful present and who was the fastest gift-wrapper. And last year's winner of the fastest fingers is still this year's reigning champion.

Nancy Bowers, 79, resident and fastest fingers champ: Growing up with the kids in the family, yes, because you always had to do it in a hurry...maybe not as fast as today, but in a hurry to get it done.

Susan Abtouche, director of philanthropy, Ann's Choice: They really care about local children and they're really worried about people. They've lived through tough times and they have children and grandchildren living through tough economic times so they feel for people. They're a really caring group of people.

Bowers: I think it's a wonderful thing for children who won't be getting gifts this year. It'll make their Christmas happier and it makes us happier for doing something for them.
