Tibia and Fibula broken 20 September 2008. Cast removal 06 November 2008. Upgraded to a walking boot. This was no picnic and I have to learn how to walk again. Not for the faint at heart.....gross.......

  • slowest cast removal in the world lmao i would hate that because it tickled the crap out of my leg when the took my cast(s) off lol. my nurse would just be like buuzzzzzz buzzzzzzzzz click click toss and remove the bandages lmao that would be annoying haha

  • @cheertumbling101 At least you are looking at this with some humor. Good luck on your recovery, Grace. :)

  • @bentleyshoe i just slipped at cheer practice on the football fields and broke my tibia and fibia. I got 2 screws in anda cast on. The hospital named me grace cuz i just slipped on flat ground.

  • @bentleyshoe It feels better now. I can run and it the running is exactly the same as it used to be the only difference is I am now more cautious and I started out slow. I have no limp. I think it is different if you break an ankle than if you break a tibia. You broke your tibia, fibula, and ankle which is worse I only broke the tibia.

  • @bentleyshoe true but it's not just that it still is swollen but it isn't to swollen. I am afraid my ankle will never be as good as it used to be. It will be just as strong but when I mean just as good I mean it having pain.

  • @bentleyshoe thank you :) ♥☻ have a good summer (: xx

  • @bentleyshoe I'm glad that your ankle isn't hurting. My ankle doesn't feel the same because it feels more stiff than it used to be prior to the injury. I have heard that it takes a very long time for the muscles to redevelop but once they do people tell me the muscles redevelop stronger than they were before the injury.

  • @TinaaAndAllyy :) Absolutely! I hiked last Sunday. I also walk every day, I dance, and do everything I did before. My ankle doesn't feel exactly the way it did before but I still do everything I did before (just a little more cautious). I had some other videos up here but they contained music and per the copyright issue I had to remove them.

My ankle doesn't hurt now. I am just fine. You will be too. ☺

  • @bentleyshoe poor you are you still hikinh now or does your ankle hurt to much still ??
