Should I really reward her for getting off? Will she not just think that it's ok, even good, to be up there as long as she comes down when I say "off"? I just don't want it to backfire on me.

@RayDrox96 ditto. mine gets on the bed everytime i'm gone but never when i'm home. i'm not going to get a baby gate for him, it just isn't practical in my apartment. *sigh* don't know what to do....

ok here is my problem my dog gets on the couch when i leave the house i no that he knows it's wrong cause every time is caught or thinks he's caught he puts his tail between his legs and props his ears down ect. i REALLY don't want to kennel him when i leave but i don't know what to do to really make him stop for good
