Atmospheric Aerial Yoga classes are a fun alternative to your regular workout routine and use a soft fabric trapeze known as a sling. The slings are the same as what aerial artists and performers use. Our Aerial Yoga classes allow participants to experience the excitement and benefits of the aerial arts by the distributing the body weight between aerial slings and the floor for a variety of strength and flexibility building postures! As well, Aerial slings use gravity to help ease participants into postures with minimal compression through the spine and joints.
Atmospheric Aerial Yoga classes work on building long lean muscles with a focus on upper body and core strength. In addition, Aerial Yoga improves body alignment, flexibility, body awareness and coordination. And because this class is so much fun, you do not realize what a FANTASTIC workout you are getting!
