787 Almost Lands on Nimitz

I try to land a Boeing 787 on a Nimitz aircraft carrier and fail. Everything looked perfect to me until I was turned into a fireball. Any tips will be appreciated.

the landing gear on most planes on aircraft carriers are beefed up so they can handle the rough landings but airliners dont have that

@noble6six I know, but most sims don't take that into consideration. Furthermore, I knew from practice on a runway that if the approach was just right, I could stop it on the carrier, and I eventually managed to do so in a later video.

Well aircraft carrier landings are ALWAYS achieved using the hook and wire system;)

You plane there doesn't have the trailing hook needed to catch any of the three arrest wires needed to halt the plane quickly enough to get it to stop before it reaches the other end of the top deck for a nice bath:p

I know, but this is a simulator, so I don't have to follow any sort of safety protocals if I don't want to. In fact, a few months later, I actually managed to succeed in this feat without the need of a trailing hook. And btw, if you've heard of S/VTOL, you would know that not all aircraft carrier landings are achieved using the hook and wire system ;)
