This is a video of my homemade bucket feeder and a tube feeder I made from 3" PVC pipe. I already had most of the items on hand. The bucket bump feeder would cost about $8 or $9 to put together. I would highly recommend a hole of at least 1 and 1/4" in the bottom of the bucket. I had started with a 1" hole but had to make it larger after testing.

  • @xxdropshot25xx That must be a funny sight. The tube feeder works great but does empty up pretty fast compared to the bucket feeder. I've got the bucket feeder set up with a motorized broadcaster and a small solar panel to keep the battery charged since I'm only able to get out there every two weeks to check it.

  • @xxdropshot25xx I don't have a stand up yet. This is an area I'm in the process of clearing for a food plot. I will be putting a stand there soon though. I've got four nice looking bucks that love to frequent the area. The only problem I've had with the tube feeder is that a raccoon has made a habit of pigging out anytime I fill it up. He's gotten to be one fat little bugger.

  • and do you have a deer stand right next to all of this?

  • lol that would suck and for are deer feeder the squirrels would crawl on the metal poles and we wood put wax on the poles so the would slide off every time they crawled up there so they wouldnt put a hole in it or anything but ares was the one u buy at a hunting store but, i am going to make the feeder with the pvc pipe tomarrow

  • @xxdropshot25xx Thanks. I did have one problem with this type of bucket feeder. Apparently some squirrels chewed a 4 inch hole through the bucket lid and rim to get to the corn I had inside. I've since had to purchase a metal bucket to keep them out.

  • nice video!
