While on the "Zion's Camp March" of 1834 Joseph Smith wrote a letter to his wife Emma revealing geography of the Book of Mormon lands. Taken from the DVD "Book of Mormon Archaeology in North America" by Wayne N. May. For more info please visit www.hillcumorahhistory.com.
This would be the same con-man who "prophesied" the end of the world in 1891? Excuse me while I laugh my ass off.

Joseph Smith's beliefs are a testimony to his myth-based imagination and not to the truths of the Christ which heals and transforms by illuminative spiritual LOVE.

Um...This is really confusing, As far as the archeological record and DNA record go these people you refer to as Nephites were not Hebrews. PLEASE UNDERSTAND THIS IS NOT AN ATTACK ON MORMONISM, It's an honest assessment of the DNA and Archeological record we have recovered from dig sites. If anyone has any hard physical evidence to support this theory and is willing to submit it for review I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

Alma 52:20
"And it came to pass they sent embassies to the army of the Lamanites, which protected the city of Mulek, to their leader, whose name was Jacob, desiring him that he would come out with his armies to meet them upon the plains between the two cities. But behold, Jacob, who was a Zoramite, would not come out with his army to meet them upon the plains. "
