As part of the inaugural EAIFL Education Day, a group of fifty students and lecturers from Middlesex University Dubai enjoyed a highly entertaining interactive session with award-winning Chimamanda Adichie. Mariam Maude, a final year Communications & Media Studies student, gave an informed introduction to the visiting author. This Orange prize-winner engaged her audience with stories of her own journey as a writer from Medical student to an internationally recognized name. She spoke of what inspires her to write, the process of writing and explored several aspects of her two novels: Purple Hibiscus and Half of a Yellow Sun.

The audience was intrigued and enthralled by her responses to their questions and enjoyed the opportunity to speak in person while having their books signed.

  • Beautiful Black Goddesses. I wish I could have one...but wishes don't come true is the wisdom I've come to acquire.

  • @YoungHorusMedia Thank you beloved! We appreciate you. Hotep!

  • Sorry, but i'm distracted by the girl sitting next to Chimamanda. Those hooters!!. Her breasts are appealing. I can't concentrate.

  • @nnaamen For some reason, your comment bout my "hooters" doesn't make me feel flattered! lol

  • @queenceezy Yea right !. Trying to be all uppity and stuck up now. Where were you ?. it's been almost a year now. I guess you just want me to look at those hooters one more time. I'm salivating right now. My darling Chimamanda should never have allowed you sit besides her with those boobs stacked like that. Most men saw what i saw. They just did'nt voice it out.

  • @nnaamen Uppity and stuck up? Really?! OK!

I didn't notice your comment beloved and perhaps I was busy with real life being that I don't have the habit of spending all of it or even most of it on YouTube - yea that's where I was! You speak as if it is a crime or an abomination to have such a feature that most Afrikan women are blessed with?!!

  • @queenceezy How can it be a crime ?. I liked what i saw. It was supposed to be a compliment. You should have just said "thank you" and accept it instead of telling me you're not flattered. I love my African women. The best specie of female on Earth. Even Oprah would have've been flattered. Next time just say "thanks". Still like what i see, regardless.

  • Perv !!! lol
