  • Yes we have many American Goldfinch at out feeder for the winter and they have also lost their vibrant colors.

    It has to be a goldfinch or a hybrid.

  • He is correct. This is an American Goldfinch in Winter Plumage. It's hard to tell but I believe it is a female.
