I think the magnabot is brilliant. Using a magnet! I never thought of that!
You are clearly a genius. Maybe you can help me out with something.
Do you think you could make a robot that can rotate around the pipe as it climbs?

With gearing, you might be able to get one motor to run slightly faster making it (sorta) rotate. Otherwise angling the wheels might achieve some rotation.
