Your bike sounds great. Many other Raider's have a "whine" when they idle (even with pipes). Yours doesn't. Did you do something to quiet down the whiny engine (synthetic oil)? I wanted to get a Raider, but I didn't like the sound. If I could make one sound like this....I'm buying!!!

@quinnjim They all whine a little bit. Yes I run synthetic in there, but the pipes roar. I don't even hear the whine! Trust me, this bike rocks.

@TurbinePower69 2008 Raider S, with Stock Tommy Blue paint. That paint color was retired after 2008. Makes it kind of special to me. Pipes are Cobra Dragsters.

@burtonkidd most harleys are made here but their parts r made in asia japan wont have anything to do with them cause they know they SUCK! AND 4 THE RECORD A MAJOR MAGAZINE 4 HARLEY HAS BEEN KNOWN 4 BUYING PARTS MADE HERE SENDING THEM 2 ASIAN AND HAVING THEM RE MADE THEN HAVING IT SHIPPED BACK AND CHARGE JUST UNDER WHAT THE PERSON WAS ASKING SO REALLY SHUT THE FUCK UP!
