Beaumont Crime Stoppers: Shoplifting and Assault at Walmart

At 12:30 p.m. Thursday, loss prevention officers witnessed a woman stuff merchandise into the front of her pants and walk out of the store, according to a news release from Beaumont police.
Loss prevention officers detained her outside the garden center exit, but she hit one of the security personnel and took off running, the release states. She left her purse behind but it contained no identifying information.
