This is a short visual inspection of the new AMCI (www.amci.com) NR25 Ethernet/IP absolute encoder. Ethernet/IP is a modern industrial networking protocol that is supported by a number of PLC companies. The NR25 is Power-Over-Ethernet (PoE) capable, meaning it can be powered by the Ethernet cable alone - no additional cable is required.

Paul Davis Automation (www.pauldavisautomation.com) represents AMCI in Ohio, Kentucky, and Western Pennsylvania.
