would probably like the video if i heard the bass, but i dont, its very very low. crank it up! ;). i will check out some others to but i the bass is as silent like in this i wont.
and no, i dont want to raise the volume to max cause your voice will be far to loud. thanx anyway for helping out.

Thanks for making it so easy to understand.
can one start on the major or minor 3rd instead of the root noote or the fifth? I find it handy to mark the contrast between a major and minor chord with same root for example when there is Gmaj7 then Gm7 play the Bb to mark the change.

yes - you can start your line with another chord tone - you are essentially playing an inversion (voicing the chord with something other than the root note in the bass.) In fact, inversions are essential for building fluid lines that move between chords. Using the root every time starts to sound very monotonous. These exercises are made to help people get to grips with prinicples for building walking lines, but how you work them into your own playing relies on yr own style and creativity :-)
