Yeah, they do have the same base diameter but my 8mm and .308 stripper clips are too fat for this gun. I picked up some original clips and the construction is a much thinner metal.

Regular 5 shot stripper clips will work that are made for a .30-06, 8MM Mauser or .308. All four rifles have the same base diameter. Oh, and do not fire factory ammo out of a 91 Arg. Pressures are too high. You need to handload and use moderate loads.
