Angel Eye: DDE Harness Full Unlock On E39

I finally was able to get the second trigger wire to work with my interior lights on my E39. I have had this DRL harness on my car for just over a year now and struggled to determine how to tap into the interior lights until recently. In order to get this to work you need to do the following:

1) Route the brown trigger wire through the firewall grommet by the brake booster
2) Remove the dead pedal, upper foot well covering, carpet trim on transmission tunnel, and remove plastic trim on door sill
3) Pull back carpeting and sound deadening to expose a large wiring harness
4) Splice into red/blue wire (it will be your door light power supply)
5) Check to make sure Angel Eyes are working before putting car back together.

@superfli8 It's the M-Tech bumper and I bought it as part of an entire kit through Bavarian Autosport. The genuine M-Tech kit not including fender liners or underpan was about $1300. The front bumper cover with all the accessories is probably $600. You could buy a replica from DDM Tuning but I understand the fit is not always perfect.

@559eddie559 Thanks. To be honest I'm not entirely sure if these work with auto level since my car didn't come with it. I know the DJ Auto Hella reps have auto leveling for certain.

so i can see were u get the trigger wire , under the filter on the passanger side , tap into the red an white thats what i was looking for all along but as for the acual light part

hey man so only one trigger wire will work? please explain what one does and what 2 wired up does , i have mine in right now but i only have my xenons working , parking light and also my high beams an what not , but still havnt figured out how to wire uyp my angel eyes i have the exact same harness as you
