credits to domonai01: '' You cant translate this joke and get anywhere near it's full effect that it has in french. but basically the guy says , 2 guys banging each other at work, their boss walk in on them and fires them, they take him to court and win because the judge says you cant fire someone that is working his a** off at work. this is a pretty accurate translation of the joke and as you can see it's not that funny if you translated as you hear it, this is where the slang comes in, in french "defonce" mean to ram so "2 homme se defonce" means 2 man are ramming eachother in the a**. defonce is also use as slang word to say " to work your a** off". so the whole joke is centered around the word "defonce" which has a double meaning. so the punch line really is the judge says "you cant fire 2 man working their a** off" and in french the same sentence can also be read as "you cant fire 2 man that are ramming each other in the a** at work".
