We got into this war on a "best selection" from a list of lies. Now McCain wants to WIN in Iraq. What does he want to win? More poker chips? Another 4,000 U.S. troops killed and 20,000 permanently maimed? Another $500 billion spent? Another 1.3 million Iraqis killed and maimed?  More Iraqi refugees? Please explain what you want to win, Senator John McCain. This is not a game, and we voters deserve a concise answer.

McCain lied about German, French, and Russian Intellegence, not to mention the CIA who all had serious doubts about what the White House was saying about WMD- specifically the aluminium tubes, and the yellowcake from Niger. He was patronizing to get an agreement from a shaky inspector.

This all seems to be an internal PR consumption, he knows fully well that both the French and German intelligence were in synch and opposed the US and British stance with regards to WMD.

McCain done quiet well to justify his ignorance of the facts but also largely ignored the prestige of the world intelligence services by making them guilty to believe what the gullible believed. Without knowing their opinions.
