One of the most underrated players in the world in my opinion. Talk about power, talk about pace, talk about vision, about precision, about touch, this man is an absolute genius. He controls the game very well, even under high pressure he always knows how to protect the ball and open up the spaces for other players. I can't see any better replacement for Xabi Alonso in the future, and right now with Mourinho who is playing most times with two defensive midfielders, i would love to see a partnership with Xabi in midfield. José Mourinho was about to have him as a starter after impressing in the Pre-Season friendlies but unfortunately he got injured in one of those games. After returning from injury he got injured another two times this season. Very unlucky. I just hope he manages to come back strong and become a star player for Real Madrid, as he was in his first two seasons with the club.
