  • whats wrong with foxcon sockets???

  • @david179057 Foxconn sockets will melt under heavy overclocking and Foxconn makes their employees commit suicide

    Look at this anandtech(dot)com/show/2859

  • i bought this from ncix, kinda strange cuz mine didnt have the red foam thing, nor did it have 2 sata cables only one...and i didnt see any dolby digital badge.....funny thing is it came with a gigabyte factory seal which yours didnt have!. i know its not a big deal should i ask ncix whats up?

  • @InsomniacPirates What Revision is your board? I have the Rev 1.0, you might have the Rev 1.3 with PCI Express 3.0 I also bought this from NCIX, you can see the sticker that NCIX puts on every item they sell. And why does your country say GB? You're in England?

  • @JundaComputersGmbH that was back on the P55 motherboards, and they where on socket 1156 im pretty sure they fix there problems by now. plus they where doing extreme overclocking i dont think you will be running a cascade or be using LN2 on that motherboard.

  • Hey i just bought this board, im kinda confused, if i want to do sli, do i have to instal a gfc on the frist pci-x which is pci16 and the last which is pci-x 8?

  • @GreatGeneralUrsus He cut himself eight times, that's why he is so nervous about it... stupid reviewers they open boxes and talk about box colors, and they don't know anything about the subject... seeing one is seeing all of them...

  • They are labeled on the pcb from top to bottom:

    16x

    1x

    4x

    8x

  • Just got this board. For crossfire do you use the 16x and the 8x slots? On their website they show a diagram with 16x and 4x slot.

  • lol a little bit of exaggeration with the I/O shield warning I think buddy
