And is what in fact started it all in North America and around the world. Before ragtime and blues recordings you had very little,If any! recordings on vyinal. Other than symphony recordings that were mostly created and came from Europe.

@levez Its in Eb but there is a Bb note on the top in there so the chords are Cmajor,

Amajor, Dmajor and G seventh BUT with a capo on the third fret. The C major is played with a high G (fourth finger on the first string three frets above the capo.

This is very similiar to Robert Johnson`s "They`re Red Hot"

Hi Levez. I have a similar tune by Kenny Sultan called 'Keep on Truckin Mama (a BBF song) in standard tuning key of G, and a version by Tampa Red in standard tuning key of C called 'What is it that tastes like gravy?' The basic chord progresssion I play is based on Kenny Sultan's and is:

G B7 E7 A7 D7/F G B7 E7 A7 D7 G G7 C7 Gdim G B7 E7 A7 D7/F G

This provides a satisfying Ragtime shuffle with an alternating bass line. The chord progression kicks in with the vocal line. Hope this helps. Bill.

altough usually you say ashes to ashes dust to dust.

this same choice of words you will find in your southern can is mine by blind willy mctell and much later in the cover by the white stripes.
